Strawberry Mojito Mocktail

Ingredients (serves 1)
- 3 strawberries, sliced
- 10 mint leaves
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp sugar or sweetener of choice
- 1 cup soda water
- Extra mint and strawberries to serve
Method
- Muddle strawberries and sugar/sweetener in a glass to release the juices. Try to get the strawberry pieces small enough to fit through a straw. You can use a blender for this step if preferred.
- Add the lime juice and stir to combine.
- Clap the mint together in your hands to release the scent (you'll know it's worked when your hands smell minty!).
- Fill your glass with ice and add soda water.
- Garnish with extra mint and strawberry slices.

So if you're thinking about cutting back on the regular drinkies, here are some realistic, do-able tips (with a side of encouragement and the occasional bad joke).
1. Thirsty? Water first.
Sounds simple, but if you’re parched, you’ll down that first glass of wine or pint like it’s a sports drink after a half-marathon.
Start with a non-alc bevvy (sparkling water, kombucha, or a No Ugly hydrating wellness drink).

Pomegranate Fizz

Ingredients
- 60 mls pomegranate juice
- Half a lime cut in wedges
- 6-8 mint leaves
- 250 mls diet ginger ale
Method
- Place lime wedges and pomegranate juice in a tall glass. Muddle until all the juice has been pressed out of the lime. If you don’t have a muddler, use the back end of a wooden spoon or similar.
- Clap mint leaves together in your hands a few times to release the scent and add to the glass. Give the mint a gentle press a couple of times with the muddler.
- Add plenty of ice to the glass and top with ginger ale. Stir well.
- Garnish with pomegranate seeds, mint and lime.

Ingredients (serves 2)
- 2 cups watermelon
- 8 strawberries
- 1/2 cup lime juice
Method
- Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until combined.
- Pour into an ice filled glass and garnish.

Raspberry Lime & Mint Mocktail

Ingredients (serves 1)
- 8 raspberries
- 1 lime, quartered
- 8-10 mint leaves
- 1 tsp sweetener of choice (opt)
- Sparkling water
Method
- Place raspberries, lime, mint and sweetener (if using) into a glass.
- Muddle together for about 1 minute to release the juice from the lime and raspberries, and the flavour from the mint. If you don’t have a muddler, use the back of a wooden spoon or similar.
- Top with sparkling water and stir gently.
- Add ice and garnish.

Glowing Green Mocktail

Ingredients
- 2-3 cms grated ginger
- 3 cms grated cucumber
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 6 mint leaves
- 125 mls sparkling water
- 125 mls diet ginger beer
Method
- Muddle ginger, cucumber, and lime in a bowl. If you don't have a muddler, use the back end of a wooden spoon.
- Clap the mint leaves together in your hands to release the scent and add it to the ginger mixture. Give the mint a gentle press with the muddler.
- Strain mixture into a glass and add ice.
- Top with half ginger beer, half sparkling water.
- Garnish and serve.
