SodaStream Sparkling Coffee

45ml strong cold-brew coffee

15ml simple syrup

20ml thickened/heavy cream

Grated cinnamon stick

SodaStream sparking water.

Fill a SodaStream 1 Litre Carbonating Bottle with tap water and chill. Carbonate the SodaStream bottle. Mix coffee, sparkling water and simple syrup in a highball glass. Add ice. Gently pour in cream so it gradually sinks into coffee; sprinkle with cinnamon!

SodaStream Ginger Honey Lemonade

1 cup raw honey

1/3 cup crystallized or candied ginger

SodaStream Lemonade

Make ginger-infused honey: Use a double broiler (or a small pot inside a larger pot). Add 1/3 cup water to the bottom of the double broiler. In the smaller pot at the top, add honey and ginger. Bring water (not honey) to a boil- bring honey temperature to 160 for 60 minutes (you don’t have to sit and watch the whole time) *Watch water and add as needed. Once done, transfer to a clean air-tight jar and place in the fridge or leave out and let cool

Assemble cocktail - Using a shaker glass, 1/2 cup SodaStream Lemonade, 4 ice cubes and 3 tbsp infused honey

Garnish with additional candied ginger and lemon slices

SodaStream Sweet Honey Mocktail

60ml apple juice

15ml boiling water

15ml honey

15ml lemon juice

1 slice lemon

SodaStream sparkling water.

Fill a SodaStream 1 Litre Carbonating Bottle with tap water and chill. Carbonate the SodaStream bottle. Stir boiling water and honey in a mixing glass. Add juices and pour into a glass with ice cubes. Top with sparkling water and garnish with lemon.

Spiced Bitters

  • 4 dashes Australian Bitters
  • Fresh pineapple juice
  • Touch of chilli
  • Cinnamon stick
  • Soda water

Method:

Line glass with bitters, add pineapple, hint of chilli, cinnamon stick and top with soda.

Top five tips for keeping hydrated during Dry July

The Dry July month is the perfect time to reassess all of your health and wellbeing goals for the rest of the year.

Hydration is a key element to ensuring physical and mental performance as our body water content declines with age, from about 75% in babies to 60% in adults.

Protein Pancakes

Ingredients:

2 eggs

1 banana (mashed)

Dash of cinnamon

Coconut oil for cooking

Mix eggs with mashed banana and cinnamon

Heat coconut oil in pan over medium to high heat

Pour mixture into pan

Flip after approx. 4–5 mins or until bottom side is cooked

Cook on the other side and serve

Top with berry coulis:

Add some frozen berries to a pan over medium heat

Cook for approx. 5–10min or until the juices have thickened

OR add fresh strawberries and yogurt

OR grilled banana in coconut oil and cinnamon

Add 1 tsp coconut oil, sliced bananas and cinnamon to a pan over medium to high heat

Cook on each side until browned

SodaStream Lemon Mint Berry Blast

Skill level: Easy

1 Litre SodaStream sparkling water

 Mint leaves

1/2 lemon, sliced

1/2 cup raspberries

6 strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/2 cup blackberries

Ice

Prepare sparkling water: Fizz 1L of cold fresh water.

Gently muddle mint, lemon and berries together in a jug.

Add ice, pour sparking water over the top and stir gently.

Serve in glasses with lemon, ice and mint to garnish.
