Hi Folks,

My Dad died of lung cancer. My sister has battled breast cancer, and still is. My niece has had both her breasts removed through cancer and is still battling it. My sons have both had cancers. 9 years ago I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. They got it early but subsequent colonoscopies identified polyps containing more early stage cancer. That is currently an ongoing process but it is all good at the moment. Then melonoma hit and I have undergone nine melonoma procedures involving major surgery and removal of lymph nodes. That is ongoing. Late last year I began peeing blood, and was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Had two lots of surgery, and treatment is currently ongoing. Massive advances have been made in cancer treatment. That costs money. This is my way of helping that effort. Dry July will be a piece of cake for me - I hope - but I will do it......
