For my Everest Cycle Challenge. From nine rides through July an elevation gain of 5,718 m. Base Camp is at 5,364 m asl. I've self-extended due to a week away overseas. Now at 6,287 m. Fingers crossed I'll reach 8,849 m by end of day on 9 August. Neil.
