Why take part?

Dry July is much more than giving up alcohol for a month. It’s the chance to help people affected by cancer by raising funds to make their lives more comfortable.

Sign up to Dry July today!

We help to provide things that may not be front of mind following a cancer diagnosis, such as getting to and from an appointment, somewhere to stay close to treatment, free Wi-Fi access, and mobile phone charging stations. We help reduce patient anxiety and the side effects of cancer treatment by funding free services such as complementary therapies, wellness programs, and wig libraries, and by providing comfortable and inviting spaces for patients to inhabit while undergoing treatment.

Everything we fund directly benefits cancer patients, their families and carers. Our aim is to make a difficult time a little easier for those affected by cancer.

Giving up alcohol for a month is a small sacrifice to make and the good news is – it will benefit you too!

Health benefits of a month off alcohol

By signing up to the challenge and making even small improvements to your diet and exercise routine, you could expect to experience any of the following:

Clear your head

Weight loss

Sense of achievement

Save money

Important Note

Dry July is a fundraising campaign aimed at challenging social drinkers to change their habits for a month and make some healthy lifestyle changes. We would encourage people to drink responsibly and stick to the recommended daily guidelines for the rest of the year. We advise heavy drinkers or people dependent on alcohol to speak with their GP before signing up to Dry July.
